Biography
- "Was it worth it?"
"If only one other planet hears of what we've done, and decides to follow our lead…then, yeah. It'll all be worth it" - ―Kylo Ren and the human girl
A human girl lived on a world[1] during the conflict between the First Order and Resistance. Between 34 ABY and 35 ABY,[2] the human's world was invaded by forces of the First Order, which she and multiple other residents opposed. The human and her companions were present for the arrival of the First Order's Supreme Leader[1]—Kylo Ren[3]—on world aboard[1] his Upsilon-class command shuttle.[3] Once he departed his ship, the girl called out to her companions, announcing it was time for them to attack the First Order forces, and then drew her weapon. In response to their resistance, Ren told his troopers to attack the group, and a skirmish broke out.[1]
The human girl (right) spoke with Supreme Leader Kylo Ren (left) when the First Order invaded the girl's world.
The girl then began to run away and was followed by Ren, who mentally noted her defiance and mused that she must have a death wish. When the Supreme Leader caught up with the human, and the two confronted each other, the girl asked Ren if he was there to kill her, telling him to try his best. After Ren asked her if that was what she wanted, the human called him an idiot and noted that she did not want to be killed. In response, the Supreme Leader retorted that she was the foolish one for fighting when she could live under the galaxy's strongest regime. He then told the human that she should know that her resistance would be subject to the harshest possible punishment—death—to which the human defiantly stated that death was not the harshest punishment.[1]
Ren told the girl she spoke like a radical and asked her to quickly explain her point, to which the girl expressed the will of her and her world's people to die free rather than under his fascist rule. Following this, the human taunted Ren, asking if he was afraid to fight back and if he was willing to die for the First Order. In response, the Supreme Leader claimed the girl would not be able to hurt him, and that she and her people would suffer for their defiance. When questioned by Ren, the human told him that if even a single world heard of what she and her companions had done and decided to do the same, then it would be worth it all. The Supreme Leader deemed the girl foolish and began to walk away. As a trio of stormtroopers arrived, the human called out to Ren, telling him that the future belonged to the people. After arriving back at his shuttle, the Supreme Leader was notified by an officer that they had control of the world. Once Ren departed, flames began to consume the girl's world.[1]
Personality and traits
- "Death is absolutely not the harshest punishment."
- ―The human girl, to Kylo Ren
The girl had green eyes, dark skin, and black hair. She was prepared to defy the First Order when they invaded her world, and had the courage to challenge Kylo Ren,[1] a Force-sensitive individual who possessed formidable lightsaber skills,[3] at close range. While the girl did not want Ren to kill her, she was willing to martyr herself for freedom against the First Order, insisting to him that death was not the harshest punishment he could inflict on her. The human believed that her actions would be worthwhile if even a single planet followed the example her world set to fight back against the First Order's fascist rule.[1]
Equipment
She wore a dark green shirt underneath a hooded cloak, brown pants, a black belt, and green-and-black sleeveless gloves. The girl wrapped the end of her hair with a light green cloth. During the First Order's invasion of her world, the human utilized a blaster pistol.[1]
