Unidentified human Nihil (Niv Drendow Apruk)

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A human was a member of the Nihil marauders.^[1] In 229 BBY,^[2] they were part of a group of Nihil who attacked the planet Banchii under the command of Nihil scientist Niv Drendow Apruk, who wanted to capture Drengir, Force-sensitive sentient plants, to use in experiments. During the fighting, the human Nihil remained inside a transport. After the Jedi defending Banchii defeated Apruk's Force-consuming Nameless creatures, the human Nihil reported to Apruk that the Nihil base on the moon Astenban had been destroyed, but that the Nihil there had captured the Force-sensitive creature Zimtok. Apruk decided that was good enough and gave the order to retreat, after which their transport departed. The human Nihil had light skin, light hair in the middle of their head, and an Eye of the Nihil insignia marking on the side of their head.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The human Nihil appeared in the third volume of the manga series Star Wars: The High Republic: The Edge of Balance, written by Daniel José Older and Shima Shinya, illustrated by Mizuki Sakakibara, and published by Viz Media^[1] on August 13, 2024, as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase III.^[3]
