Sliro Ruback speaking at the summit that the human attended on Cantonica

The human served as part of the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate[2] by 3 ABY. That year,[1] they attended a small summit of rival syndicates hosted by the Zerek Besh syndicate at their Westhill Palace on the casino planet Cantonica. The summit included a representative for the Pyke Syndicate, a Weequay representative for the Hutt Cartel, and Sliro Ruback, the leader of Zerek Besh. The three representatives were offered a spread of food while they waited for Ruback to join them and begin the summit.[2]

When Ruback did arrive, the human sat in silence while the crime lord outlined the state of the underworld, accused one of the representatives of sending a spy to the summit, and talked about his brother's eating habits. When Ruback finished his speech, the human spoke up, stating that partnerships between crime syndicates had been tried before and did not work. Dismissing the idea that he wanted partners, Ruback leaned back in his chair and watched while his guards aimed at and gunned down the representatives.[2]

Later that year,[1] the Imperial Security Bureau's created a report on the Ruback that concluded the murders were an attempt to sent a threatening message to the representative's respective syndicates. It went on to note that the syndicates were actively looking for ways to retaliate against Zerek Besh.[2]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars Outlaws. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

The thief Kay Vess read a copy of the report at Imperial Excavation Site 12 on the jungle planet Akiva[2] in 3 ABY.[1]

Personality and traits

The representative was a human with tan skin, brown hair, and brown eyes.[2]

Equipment

During the summit, they wore a red and black outfit that included a red shirt, black pants, black boots, red gloves,[2] and a red leather[3] vest with gold accents similar to Crimson Dawn's insignia. The outfit also included a red scarf, a black waist sash, and a red hood that they kept up during the meeting.[2]

Behind the scenes

The human, identified in the subtitles as simply "Crimson Dawn agent," first appeared in the video game Star Wars Outlaws, which was developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[2] Prior to the game's release on August 30, 2024, the human was first pictured in the game's "Official Story Trailer" that was released on April 9 of the same year.[4] A storyboard of the game's summit cinematic was included in the Star Wars Outlaws: A Visual Journey art book[5] that released on August 27, 2024 as part of the game's Ultimate Edition.[6] Lighting for the cinematic was done by Lighting Artist Justine Jubin under Lead Lighting Artist Kopsès Laforêt.[7]
