The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official non-canon information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A sentient species with green-and-tan skin existed in the galaxy. The aliens were short and had two legs and two arms that ended in three fingers each. They had pointed ears, red eyes, upturned noses, and ridges on their forehead. Members of the species were capable of consuming a type of beverage.[1]

At some point between 18 BBY and 3 BBY,[2] at least two members of the species were present on[1] the planet[3] Golak. One left the Golak Mahal by speeder bike as the human siblings Rani and Charuk arrived, the former being Force-sensitive. Another member of the species witnessed an Inquisitor confront Rani and was caught up in a scuffle when a sandstorm passed through the Mahal. Both members on Golak wore red turbans with an assortment of colorful robes and cloths with curled shoes.[1]

Behind the scenes

"These are alien characters, but they have been designed in beautiful Indian clothing."
―Milind D. Shinde[3]

The species appeared in "The Bandits of Golak," a non-canon short film released as part of the second volume of the Star Wars: Visions series. The animated short, produced by 88 Pictures, was released on Disney+[1] on May 4, 2023.[4] Concept art of the species and Maghadi—another alien character from the short—were showcased by 88 Pictures founder and CEO Milind D. Shinde at the 2023 Autodesk Convergence.[5] Concept art labeled the species as Magadhi 02 where they were dressed in Indian-styled clothing.[3]

  2. "The Bandits of Golak" takes place during the Great Jedi Purge, which ended with the Mission to Malachor per The Odyssey of Star Wars: An Epic Poem. Star Wars: Timelines dates the mission to 3 BBY, this is when the Jedi Purge ended. The short also features TIE/ln space superiority starfighters, which were introduced in 18 BBY per Timelines. Therefore, "The Bandits of Golak" must take place between 18 BBY and 3 BBY.
