- "What about in there?"
"Just keep walking." - ―Wim and Fern, looking at a dance club with door girls at the entrance
During the New Republic Era, a four-breasted alien woman worked as a door girl at a Borgo Prime dance club, performing slow solo dances with flowing body movements to entice passers-by to enter the establishment.
Biography
At some point by the New Republic Era,[1] a female alien[2] individual of a four-breasted species had begun a career as a door girl. Having found employment at a dance club on the pirate asteroid Borgo Prime, the woman was stationed at the entry to the establishment, performing solo dances[1] to entice passers-by to drop by the parlor.[2]
The door girl worked at a dance club on Borgo Prime.
Around 9 ABY,[3] the alien door girl presented a slow solo dance, characterized by flowing movements and intricate hand gestures. Meanwhile, the Theelin Melna—another door girl—remained at the other side of the doorway. As their performance unfolded, the dancers attracted a scantily clad Twi'lek and a humanoid individual. In addition, the two[1] women[2] were noticed by a group of four younglings who had found themselves lost in space[1] following an accidental departure from their home planet of At Attin.[4] When the boy Wim suggested entering the club, the girl Fern instead insisted on walking somewhere else. Whereas the alien door girl kept dancing, Melna took an interest in the younglings' fate. As[1] she[2] later claimed, a pirate world like Borgo Prime was not a good place for younglings.[1]
Personality and traits
The door girl was an light-skinned alien of a four-breasted species with loose, dark hair. A heavyset dancer with prominent abdominal folds, the woman moved slowly and employed flowing body movements.[1]
Equipment
The door girl's scant attire included a dark, two-piece top and a matching skirt, in addition to jewelry such as a hairband and a necklace.[1]
Behind the scenes
The door girl first appeared in "Way, Way Out Past the Barrier," the second episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew,[1] which premiered on December 2, 2024.[5]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian" of The Mandalorian Season One to 9 ABY. In addition,
"A Certain Point of View" — Star Wars Insider 228 also dates "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" to nine years after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which corresponds to 9 ABY per Timelines. "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" takes place after the conflict on Mandalore, which is the main event depicted in "Chapter 23: The Spies" and "Chapter 24: The Return," the final two episodes of The Mandalorian Season Three. Therefore, Seasons One through Three of Star Wars: The Mandalorian must all be set in 9 ABY as well.
SWCA 2022: 20 Highlights from Lucasfilm's Studio Showcase on StarWars.com (backup link) states that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew takes place in the same timeframe as Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Star Wars: Ahsoka—the latter of which can also be dated to 9 ABY following the reasoning here. As such, Skeleton Crew must take place around 9 ABY as well.
