A chef learned to cook at the University of Alderaan in Aldera, capital city of the planet Alderaan. While studying, she learned to cook Aldera Meatpies, which she later served while working on[1] the planet[2] Tepasi following the destruction of Alderaan by the Galactic Empire[1] in 0 BBY.[3]

While on a culinary tour of the galaxy[1] between 34 ABY and 35 ABY,[4] the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs ordered an Aldera Meatpie from the chef on Tepasi without realizing it was a recipe from Alderaan. The former student then explained its origin and when she had learned to make it, information that Tuggs included alongside a recipe for the pie in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook,[1] which was published in 35 ABY.[4]

The chef was mentioned in the 2023 Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook, a recipe book written by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak.[1]

In addition, Timelines dates the Festival of the Ancestors and the destruction of Kijimi to 35 ABY, meaning the tour must have taken place between 34 ABY and 35 ABY and The Ultimate Cookbook must have been published in 35 ABY.
