An individual worked as the chef in Enlightenment, a bar located in the Holy City on[2] the Mid Rim[3] moon Jedha[2] by 382 BBY. During the Battle of Jedha that year,[1] the chef was killed, to the dismay of the bar's owner, the Villarandi Kradon Minst. After the battle, Minst mentioned the chef's passing to Yana Ro, an Evereni member of the Path of the Open Hand cult, as he offered to cook Ro something to eat when she visited Enlightenment.[2]

The chef was mentioned in the 2023 young-adult novel The High Republic: Path of Vengeance, written by Cavan Scott and published as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[2] Phase II.[4]
