The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

An individual served as bureau chief of a law enforcement agency that operated in the city Efavan on^[1] the Outer Rim^[2] planet^[3] Vorzyd V during the High Republic Era.^[1] Around 231 BBY,^[4] while posing as a member of the fictitious Efavan Major Homicides and Secret Investigations Department in order to access a crime scene in Efavan, Jedi investigator Emerick Caphtor threatened to contact the bureau chief if a Cyclorrian sergeant of the agency did not provide Caphtor and his companion^[1]—Galactic Republic^[5] private investigator Sian Holt—the rundown of the scene. The sergeant ultimately complied with the Jedi's request.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The bureau chief was mentioned in the second issue of the 2021 comic miniseries Star Wars: The High Republic: Trail of Shadows, released as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's^[1] Phase I.^[6] The issue was written by Daniel José Older and published by Marvel Comics on November 24, 2021.^[7]
