Nanchia was a female individual who worked on Vernid as a rigswoman in a dig-rig crew. In a cantina on Vernid, she got into a disagreement with one of her coworkers, "Devon Lhent," a former Imperial TIE fighter pilot and major in the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing who was living on Vernid under an alias.[1]
