This species was a bipedal humanoid sentient species that existed in the galaxy. They were distinguished by their orange skin, as well as a pair of fin-like growth on top of their head and four pointed barbs extending from their face, and two tube-like growths wrapping around each of the sides of their head.[1] In 9 ABY,[2] at least two members of this species visited Garsa Fwip's Sanctuary in Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine,[1] with one of them being present when Sanctuary was blown up by the Pyke Syndicate.[3]

Behind the scenes

This species first appeared in the second episode of the television series, Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, written by Jon Favreau and directed by Steph Green.[1] The species shared many traits with another species created for the first episode of the second season of the television series, Star Wars: The Mandalorian,[4] referred to behind the scenes by makeup artist Brian Sipe and team simply by the nickname "Catfish."[5]
