"And who'll do the fending, if they're taking our kids for their fights? They're recruiting at the port. You'll see the posters."
―The aunty, questioning a claim about fending off pirates[1]

Twenty years after the Sith rebellion, a female individual who was old enough to be an aunty carried an apothecary chest on her back as she walked to Osou on the Outer Rim planet Genbara. She met several beings walking on the same path, including a another aunty with baskets of rice, an uncle leading a beast of burden, another uncle driving a landspeeder, and the individuals known as the Ronin and the Traveler.[1]

As the uncle with the beast of burden and the other aunty discussed how fending off pirate attacks would keep people too preoccupied to get involved with growing tensions in the Empire, the aunty interjected; she had seen recruitment posters in Osou spaceport. With young people leaving to join the Imperial conflicts, the ones who remained would have more difficulties with the pirates. After the uncle with the landspeeder said bodies were going missing again, the aunty spoke up to share a rumor she had heard on the HoloNet about Buna. Allegedly, the local lord had sent some of his trusted Jedi to deal with pirates in a village on Buna's moon. When the Jedi stopped sending back reports, more Jedi were sent and found the village and the moon empty, with no bones left to send back to the families. When another called the aunty's words hearsay, she insisted it was true since it was on the HoloNet.[1]
