Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy. The humanoid species was distinguished by their ape-like faces.[1] By 32 BBY[2] until at least 22 BBY,[3] four members of this species were associated with the Galactic Senate.[1]

Behind the scenes

This species first appeared in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, written and directed by George Lucas.[1] When asked about this species, Leland Chee revealed that he had no additional information regarding them, going as far as to state he lumped them together with other unidentified species only ever seen in the far background of the Senate Building under one entry within the Holocron continuity database.[4]
