An admiral served as an Imperial officer within the Galactic Empire by the time of the ambush at the Zavian Abyss during the Galactic Civil War. As a commanding officer, they were in command of the Battlegroup Echelon during the Skirmish at Merisee when they were captured. Eventually, after members of the battle group managed to rally, they were able to launch a rescue and defeat the rebel forces.[1]
