The Skirmish at Merisee was a skirmish that occurred at Merisee and involved the Galactic Empire and rebel forces at some point prior to the ambush at the Zavian Abyss in the Galactic Civil War. The Imperial Navy's Battlegroup Echelon was involved in the skirmish, but their admiral's flagship was captured and their supply lines were severed. Despite the situation, the remaining members of the battle group rallied and pushed back their enemy, made repairs in hostile territory, and launched a rescue. In the end, Battlegroup Echelon defeated the rebel forces and emerged victorious.[1]
