A Wookiee thug was present on the planet Liskan during a trade dispute between the Trade Federation and the Gillanter Corporation. During that time, they and two other Wookiee criminals ambushed the Jedi Yaddle and Seera Longa, along with ex-Jedi Count Dooku in a freighter owned by the corporation, later torturing the count. However, during the session of pain, Dooku used the Force to ignite his lightsaber into the Wookiee, promptly killing them.[2]

Timelines also dates the end of Valorum's time as Chancellor to 32 BBY, therefore meaning Jedi Knights 5, which includes the death of the Wookiee thug on Liskan, must take place between those two years.
