A Sullustan worked at a repair shop in the city Myrra on the Outer Rim jungle planet Akiva during the Imperial Era.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] the Sullustan and a human working at the shop had become friends with the Aqualish Weirla. The pair had installed an arcade machine at a sabacc parlor in the Pyke Sydicate district for Weirla[1] by the same year. Around the same time,[2] Weirla began winning big at the fathier table at The Alcazar, a local cantina. Despite her winnings, Weirla did not pay pair for the installation.[1]

In 3 ABY,[2] the owner of The Alcazar, Surat Nuat, began to suspect someone was cheating at the fathier table and hired the scoundrel Kay Vess to investigate the activity for him. Vess traveled to the shop after a Rodian gambler pointed Vess towards Weirla and her friends. When Vess arrived, she overheard Weirla's friends complaining about the Aqualish being cheap despite her fathier race winnings. She proceeded to strike up a conversation with the Sullustan and human, during which she learned about the pair installing the arcade machine in the Pyke District.[1]

The Sullustan appeared as part of the syndicate quest "Money Drop" in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[1] In the game, their appearance is randomized for each playthrough, although their species is consistent.[1]
