A defector was a former member of the Mantellian Separatist Movement active on the planet Ord Mantell[1] in 3643 BBY.[2] Attempting to leave the movement, the defector made contact with an individual over an open channel, seeking help to destroy data held by the Mantellian separatists. The defector revealed the location of a stealth generator dropped outside the Separatist stronghold, a fortress operated by the movement in Mount Avilatan on Ord Mantell.[1]

The Separatist defector first appeared in the dynamic encounter mission "Inside Job," introduced in Game Update 7.7: Dynamic Worlds, released on May 28, 2025, as part of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith,[3] the eighth digital expansion to the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[4]
