- "Who else were you expecting?"
"Anyone but them. I don't know, the Hutts or maybe that Rodian gang." - ―IV-A4 and Sevn
A gang of Rodians operated during the reign of the Galactic Republic.[1] By 19 BBY,[2] when the Sand Bird, the starship of the bounty hunter Sevn and her droid partner IV-A4, was attacked, Sevn asked if their attackers were agents of the Basham mercenary group, which IV-A4 confirmed. The droid then asked who Sevn was expecting, and she responded by mentioning the Rodian gang, the Hutts, or any "second-rate hunter."[1]
Behind the scenes
The Rodian gang was mentioned in "The Bounty Hunters," an animated short film produced by WIT Studio as part of the third volume of the non-canon Star Wars: Visions series, released on Disney+[1] on October 29, 2025.[3]
