In 228 BBY,[3] a male Nameless accompanied the former Jedi Master Cibaba during his activities as a Child of the Storm that sought out children that were sensitive to the Force, despite the agonies that the Azumel suffered because of the creature's presence.[2] During 228 BBY, the Nameless accompanied its master to the planet Temerancé in an attempt to recapture[4] the young Altiri Lene Kostana after she was rescued from Nihil marauders by the Force-sensitive monster hunter Tylera Yorrick[4] and pursued the latter to Abtin. There, while Cibaba battled Yorrick — his former Padawan — the Nameless pursued her own apprentice, Drewen Qweebjillan, and attacked him while he was attempting to take Kitrep Soh and Jom Lariin to safety. Although the creature was able to overpower the Segredo squire, before it could act further, it was knocked into a chasm by Soh.[2]

Biography

"What is it, boy? Do you smell something in the caves? Maybe Tylera's apprentice. I must admit, I'm curious to see who she has decided to train. The Padawan of my Padawan."
―Cibaba, to the Nameless.[2]

A male Nameless that lived during the era of the High Republic, the creature — a member of a species that was the apex predator of Force-sensitives because of its abilities to feed off the Living Force[5] — became the companion of the Azumel Cibaba, a former Jedi Master that had been experimented on by the Ithorian scientist Baron Boolan and twisted to become a member of the Children of the Storm, a group within the Nihil anarchist organization that hunted down individuals that were sensitive with the Force. At one point during their partnership, Cibaba and his Nameless encountered a Rodian that the former indicated at to the latter. However, since Cibaba was a Force-sensitive himself, the creature's very presence was agonising for him, although the former Jedi justified the pain by claiming that life itself was agony.[2] In 228 BBY,[3] over a year after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, the pair travelled to the planet Temerancé, where the Nihil had been kidnapped various children from the local population,[6] only for the Force-Sensitive Outcast Ty Yorrick — a monster hunter and the former Padawan of Cibaba — to rescue them.[4] After killing the Altiri Sula and Galdrim for their refusal to disclose the location of their daughter Lene Kostana, Cibaba dispatched his Nameless to persuade their target, who was rescued by Yorrick and escaped with the creature and its master in pursuit about their own starship.[6]
