A Force-sensitive individual served the Jedi Order as a Jedi seeker[1]—a Jedi who searched the galaxy for Force-sensitive children[2]—during the High Republic Era.[1] Around 170 BBY,[3] on[1] the planet[4] Bonadan, the Jedi seeker identified the three-year-old human Torbin as having Force potential, after which his impoverished parents gave him to the Order.[1]
