A Force-sensitive individual served as a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era.[1] Around 163 BBY,[2] the Jedi Master was to head to[1] the Outer Rim planet[3] Eriadu on a diplomatic mission to the Kessarine population there and requested that Jedi Padawan Indara, who was in the Jedi Archives in the Jedi Temple on[1] the Core Worlds[3] planet Coruscant come up with a detailed history of the cultural relevance of shishi tea to the Kessarine. Indara completed the task as requested.[1]

Around 160 BBY,[2] while traveling to the planet Thelj to return Galactic Republic Senator Jakob Garn to Coruscant, Indara—by then a Jedi Knight—read up on Garn and the Jedi Annexation Act bill he had sponsored and attempted to pass in order to gain Galactic Senate oversight of the Jedi Order. Indara mentally recalled the time the Jedi Master had requested the research from her, which was at the same time of the attempted passing of the Jedi Annexation Act, considering it was perhaps not the best use of her time.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Jedi Master was mentioned in The Acolyte: Wayseeker, a 2025 novel written by Justina Ireland.[1]
