Biography
During the Imperial Era, the human individual served within the armed forces of the Galactic Empire as an Imperial officer, eventually attaining the military rank of general. In 1 BBY,[3] the cyborg Beilert Valance and his crew of bounty hunters were hired by the Hidden Hand organization to kill Darth Vader,[2]Galactic Emperor Palpatine's enforcer.[4] At the same time, Lord Vader was on his own hunt for the organization. After the bounty hunter Dengar,[5] Vader's secret informant within Valance's crew,[6] alerted that they were on the astronomical object Heva[5] in the Outer Rim's[7] Sevetta sector,[8] Vader travelled their aboard the Imperial-class Star Destroyer[2] Formidable[6] to engage them.[2]
Arriving within Heva's atmosphere, Vader ordered the general to deploy the Star Destroyer's TIE fighters to engage Valance's cruiser, the Broken Wing and left to join the skirmish in his personal TIE Advanced x1. Valance's slicer, Chio Fain, managed to gain control of a group of bot-drones and used them to ram into the Formidable's conning tower, severing it. The resulting explosion killed the Imperial general and sent the Formidable crashing into Heva's surface below.[2] In the aftermath, a second Star Destroyer under the command of General Gollin arrived, with the ship's Imperial captain reported the loss of the Formidable.[6]
