Unidentified Imperial droid model

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

Description

This droid model was used for patrolling and maintenance roles by the Galactic Empire.^[1] The droid moved around on finger-like metal structures, similar to those of the All Terrain Heavy Hauler that would be used by the First Order decades later.^[2] The droid's black body was trapezoid shaped, and featured a red photoreceptor assembly that could be retracted into the rest of the body. One could slot a datapad into the droid if they desired.^[1]

History

One of these droids was present at Sienar Test Facility 73 on the Sienar Fleet Systems-owned planet 73 in 4 BBY. It looked after the TIE Avenger prototype in its hangar. However, it was shot by Cassian Jeron Andor, incognito as a Sienar Test Pilot, when it interfered with his mission.^[1]
