During the Galactic Civil War, an Imperial cruiser served in the Imperial Navy's Fakir sector fleet. It was in orbit of the planet Iyuta and received a priority message from a probe droid that an Imperial scout vessel had captured General Lens Reekeene of the Rebel Alliance. The scout vessel had been damaged, forcing the captain to divert to the abandoned garrison on the planet Flankers.[1] The cruiser reported it could depart in fourteen hours,[2] arriving at Flankers with enough time to spare before the system's star went supernova.[1]
The cruiser reached in the Flankers system to find that the supernova had accelerated. An Alliance force had assaulted the garrison and rescued General Reekeene; their ship was departing the system as the cruiser arrived. The star exploded shortly after the cruiser's arrival, destroying the starship.[1]
