During the Galactic Civil War, an Imperial scout vessel served in the Imperial Navy's Fakir sector fleet. The ship was used to ambush General Lens Reekeene's X-wing while she was on route to a rendezvous with Alliance sector high command. The scout ship's initial attack heavily damaged the X-wing's engines and eliminated Reekeene's R2 unit.[1]
The commander of the scout ship expected Reekeene to surrender, but she surprised the captain by counter-attacking, releasing a volley of proton torpedoes at close range into the vessel. The scout ship was hit three times, and the fuel pod was destroyed, although Reekeene's X-wing was disabled due to its close proximity to the explosions. The captain captured Reekeene, but due to the damage the ship had sustained, he was forced to divert the vessel to the abandoned garrison on the planet Flankers.[1]
