Unidentified Erighal Mid Captain

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A Chiss male who held the rank of Mid Captain commanded a task force of warships of the Chiss Ascendancy's Erighal family^[1] around 18 BBY.^[2] After Agbui agents under the command of the Grysk operative known as "Jixtus" fooled the Erighal family into thinking that the Unknown Regions planet Hoxim housed great deposits of nyix, a metal used to build warships' hulls, the Mid Captain and his task force traveled to the planet; however, two other families, the Pommrio and Xodlak, had also been deceived by the Agbui. The families' respective task forces confronted the Erighal in what became known as the Hoxim incident before the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet heavy cruiser Springhawk arrived. After the three families' commanders realized that the Springhawk was engaging the forces of the Watith species, they shut down their confrontation and joined forces to eradicate the Watith threat. Ultimately, a Watith freighter crashed on Hoxim, destroying the planet's nyix deposits.^[1]
