The Pommrio family was a Chiss family belonging to the Chiss Ascendancy's Great Families. It possessed a small fleet. The Pommrio family was allied with the Ruling Plikh family.[1]

The Pommrio family was one of three Great Families involved in Haplif of the Agbui and "Jixtus"'s conspiracy to draw the Chiss Ascendancy into civil war. The other two families were the Erighal family, allied with the Ruling Dasklo family; and the Xodlak family, allied with the Ruling Irizi family.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Pommrio family first appeared in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Greater Good, the second book of The Ascendancy Trilogy by Timothy Zahn.[1]
