- "Easy, my friends, there's no need for—"
"This is no matter of yours, stranger!"
"And we are no friends of yours!" - ―Qort, the Duros, and the Kajain'sa'Nikto
A Duros male citizen was present on the planet Eriadu during the High Republic Era. In 228 BBY, the Duros got into a fight with a Kajain'sa'Nikto in Bri-Phrang City and attacked the individual with both words and actions. As they argued, the Aloxian Jedi Knight Qort intervened and tried to break apart their fighting, which only angered both individuals more. As the Duros tried to land a physical attack, the effort was blocked by the Jedi before he used a mind trick to send both citizens home.
Biography
- "Whoa there, sir."
"Why you—" - ―Qort and the Duros
The Kajain'sa'Nikto and the Duros argued in an alleyway.
During the High Republic Era, a Duros male was present in Bri-Phrang City on the planet Eriadu.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] the Duros got into an altercation with a Kajain'sa'Nikto citizen in an alleyway of the city. While the two struggled at one another's clothing, the Aloxian Jedi Knight Qort, who was walking nearby, intervened and proceeded to split the two up, to which the Duros exclaimed that the intervention was not needed, with the Nikto agreeing with their statement.[1]
The Duros, who became angered at what the Nikto said, verbally attacked them, from which the Nikto defended themselves. As the Duros tried to land a punch at the Nikto, the Jedi managed to deflect the attack with[1] his[3] fist before using a mind trick to relieve the two from fighting and compel them to return home, explaining that the streets at night were not safe to roam at the time. The Kajain'sa'Nikto and the Duros, both under the influence of the trick, complied and left immediately in opposite directions.[1]
Personality and traits
- "Oi, not for you to tell me who my friends are, is it?"
"It's for me to do whatever I please, actually!" - ―The Duros and Kajain'sa'Nikto
The Duros was angered by another citizen and clashed amongst them with their views, even choosing to attack when threatened. They had red eyes and light green skin.[1]
Equipment
The Duros wore a yellow jacket over a white shirt with a belt, gray pants, and black boots.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic – Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic Adventures (2023) 4 takes place one year and two weeks after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, it must be set in 228 BBY. Since the events of The High Republic Adventures (2023) 6 are set immediately following the fourth issue and depict the expansion of the Stormwall, the expansion must have taken place in the same year. Meanwhile, the events of "Tales from the Occlusion Zone: No Big Deal" include the Stormwall's expansion and also depict the start of Pikka Adren's pregnancy. A later story, "Tales from the Occlusion Zone: Sparks Fly," states that Adren is eight months pregnant during its events, indicating that it is set eight months after "No Big Deal," and therefore one year, eight months, and two weeks after the fall of Starlight Beacon. "Sparks Fly" is set during the Battle of Eriadu, an event that begins in The High Republic Adventures Phase III - The Wedding Spectacular. As
Star Wars: The High Republic Chronological Reader's Guide on StarWars.com (article) (backup link) places The High Republic Adventures – Dispatches from the Occlusion Zone 1 between the events of "No Big Deal" and The Wedding Spectacular, its events must also be set in 228 BBY.
