Unidentified CZ protocol droid

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official non-canon information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A CZ protocol droid accompanied an R4 astromech droid while the two searched for a village on a planet. Throughout their search, the CZ protocol droid complained and argued with the astromech. At night, the two droids saw a distant fire that the former Sith known as the Ronin had set to burn the body of the Sith Okinaa, the last member of the village. The protocol droid realized they had returned to the same path they had been on previously and continued arguing with the astromech droid.

Biography

A CZ protocol droid, along with its companion, an R4 astromech droid, searched for a village on a planet. As they walked on sandy dunes past the skeleton of a creature, the protocol droid complained to their companion about their search, believing it was pointless and that their situation would continue for the rest of their lives. It then stated its joints were not working well and complained about the planet they were on before asking the astromech droid if it was sure there was a village in the direction they were traveling. When the astromech droid responded in binary that it did not know, the two droids began arguing.^[1]

At night, the two droids saw a distant fire, which^[1] the former Sith^[2] known as the Ronin had started to burn the body of the Sith Okinaa, the last surviving resident of the village, who he had killed in a duel. The protocol droid told their companion it regretted coming with it, then realized they had returned to the same path they had been on previously. The droids argued again and insulted each other, and the protocol droid decided that after they reached their destination, it would be done with adventures.^[1]

Characteristics

The CZ protocol droid complained about its journey on the planet, which caused its joints to not function well. It argued with and insulted its astromech droid companion throughout their search.^[1]

Equipment

The CZ protocol droid wore padding on its shoulders and had a cloth tied around its waist. It carried a stick and had a ribbon tied around its head.^[1]

The CZ protocol droid appeared in the non-canon comic Visions – Takashi Okazaki 1, written and illustrated by Takashi Okazaki and published by Marvel Comics^[1] on March 20, 2024.^[3]
