Ulban Arms was a manufacturer that weaponized CryoBan technology. Loronar Corporation's CryoBan rifle was built in the tradition of Ulban Arms and other similar manufacturers.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Ulban Arms was mentioned in the 2019 Star Wars Roleplaying supplement Gadgets and Gear, which was published by Fantasy Flight Games.[1] The spiders originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they were mentioned in "Toria Tell's Droid Journal", an article published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 10[2] in May 1996[3]
