During the early years of the New Order[1] that had been founded in 19 BBY,[2] the wife of Jedi Knight Tyneir Renz was murdered by the Galactic Empire alongside their son during a massacre at their homeworld Jiaan, in retaliation for Renz's escape from the Great Jedi Purge. Though Renz had not arrived in time to save his wife and son, he managed to save their daughter, Padija Anjeri, from the massacre.[1]
Behind the scenes
Tyneir Renz's wife was mentioned in Tyneir Renz's character statistics block in "Idol Intentions," a short story by Patricia A. Jackson in the February 1997 twelfth issue of Star Wars Adventure Journal, a supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]
