Jedi Knight Tyneir Renz's son was a victim of a massacre carried out during the early years of the New Order[1]—which had been founded in 19 BBY[2]—at their homeworld Jiaan by the Galactic Empire—an act that was done in retaliation for Renz's survival of the Great Jedi Purge. The son's mother also perished in the massacre, though their father was able to save their sister, Padija Anjeri.[1]
