The Trellen system was a star system located in of the Core Worlds in grid square M-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was a part of the Hydian Way[2] super-hyperroute,[4] which connected it to the Fedalle system[2] and the Bellassa system.[5] The Trellen system also acted as one terminus of[2] the Trellen Trade Route, which connected it to the Gatalenta system.[3]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Trellen system was mentioned as just "Trellen" on a map of the galaxy[2] designed by Christopher Ibbitt[6] and written by Jason Fry[7] in the reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, New Edition[2] which was released on March 6, 2025.[8] It was then identified as the Trellen system in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were also written by Fry.[9] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[10]
