The Tosarvi made their debut in the third episode of the 2024 television series, Star Wars: The Acolyte, directed by Kogonada.[1] They were originally designed by concept artist Luke Fisher as a rejected potential design for Qi'ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story.[5] Their name was revealed within the Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide[2] which released in select countries on June 5, 2025.[6]
