Tolium was a type of gas that could be stored in canisters. When tolium gas is mixed with cyphrite it makes a powerful toxin.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] Lando Calrissian smuggled the scoundrel Kay Vess to Imperial Governor Thorden's hideout in a crate claiming that it was a gift of tolium gas canisters.[1]
Behind the scenes
Tolium was first mentioned in canon in the "Wild Card" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on November 21, 2024.[3]
Tolium originally appeared in the Star Wars Legends continuity Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game adventure "Seregar Turnabout" released in the 1997 No Disintegrations sourcebook.[4]
