Cyphrite was a type of ore that could be found on the moon Okala Five. It could be used to created a powerful toxin when it was mixed with tolium gas.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] The coordinates of Okala Five had been lost to much of the galaxy and was said to contain 2.8 trillion tons of pure cyphrite ore. In 3 ABY, a Kessel Sabacc tournament was held aboard the casino cruiser Morenia with the grand prize being Okala Five's coordinates. Imperial Governor Thorden plotted to acquire the coordinates in order to use the toxin as weapon to maintain his own empire.[1]
Behind the scenes
Cyphrite was first mentioned in canon in the "Wild Card" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on November 21, 2024.[3]
