- "With the Tof resistance funding our mission, money is not a concern."
- ―Domina Tagge
The Tof resistance was a resistance movement which arose after the defeat of the Tofs in the battle of Saijo. The Tof resistance opposed the Nagai, the Mandalorians and the New Republic.
History
End of the Tof invasion

In 4 ABY, the Tofs were defeated on Saijo and the leader of their invasion force, Prince Sereno, was forced to surrender.[3] After the conclusion of the Nagai–Tof War, the Tofs retreated to their homeworld Tof, located in a satellite galaxy that they called Firefist. Despite this forced retreat however, the bulk of the Tof armada was able to return home.[2]
While the Tofs were defeated, the Nagai had gained new allies in their efforts to reclaim their home planet, which was still held by the Tofs.[4] The Nagai fleet soon departed to fight the Tofs on Nagi, with help from Fenn Shysa's Mandalorian Protectors.[5] The Nagai and the Mandalorians liberated Nagi and put the Tofs in an entirely new position—on the defensive.[2]
After the Tof defeat
- "Take my would-be assassin to a holding cell. And divert any military forces we can spare to support the Mandalorians' battle with the Tof."

In the wake of their defeat on Saijo, the Tofs organized a resistance movement to fight the Nagai and the Mandalorians. In 5 ABY, the New Republic forces were too preoccupied with their fight against the Galactic Empire to divert any military forces to support the Nagai and the Mandalorians in their campaign against the Tofs. That changed after a Tof assassin attempted to kill Leia Organa on Noquivzor, in the Colonies. Admitting that the Tof threat was real, the New Republic finally agreed to divert some of its military forces to fight the Tofs.[1]
Meanwhile, Domina Tagge allied herself with the Tof resistance. The Tofs funded her mission to retrieve the Great Life Jewels, two red gems that could create a fatal disease known as the Crimson Forever if they were separated. Both Tagge and the Tof resistance wanted to use the gems' deadly powers in order to destroy the New Republic. Their plans were eventually foiled by a New Republic team sent to recover the Great Life Jewels, which had been stored aboard a derelict Imperial-class Star Destroyer set adrift in the Unknown Regions.[1]
