Firefist, also known as Companion Besh, was a dwarf galaxy in a close and decaying orbit around the galactic disk which was 150,000 light-years from it. Firefist contained the homeworlds of the Faruun, Maccabree, Nagai and Tof species, and was considered unexplored, as only probe droids visited it.[1]
Companion Besh was seen on a galaxy map accessed by Obi-Wan Kenobi shortly before the Clone Wars between the Republic and the Separatist alliance.[2]
Behind the scenes
The second satellite galaxy appears in Attack of the Clones, but was not given a formal name until the publication of The Essential Atlas, and then a colloquial name in The Unknown Regions.
