The Tierfon Launch Base[4] was an Alliance to Restore the Republic military[3] base on Tierfon, which was considered at least a level five starfighter hub during the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire.[2] It served as the home for the Tierfon Yellow Aces. Encroaching Imperial patrols necessitated the scuttling of the base[3] in 1 BBY,[1] which led the squadron to be broken up and reassigned to other postings.[3]
