Thorn was a human agent in the Galactic Empire's Imperial Security Bureau. Following the Battle of Endor, Thorn infiltrated the fledgling New Republic, discovering intelligence on the secret Project Starhawk and in need of extraction. Imperial officer Terisa Kerrill tasked Titan Squadron on a mission to an orbital outpost above Hosnian Prime along with a small contingent of Imperial warships and recover Thorn.^[1]
