The Simpsons: May the 12th Be With You is a crossover short film between Star Wars and The Simpsons. It was released on May 10, 2024, on Disney+.^[1]

Plot summary

As preparations are underway for the Disney+ Mother's Day outing, Marge Simpson is about to drive a group of mothers from various Disney franchises to their destination. However, her plans hit a snag when her car refuses to start due to engine trouble. Fortunately, Ahsoka Tano arrives in her T-6 shuttle and offers to give Marge and the Disney moms a ride. Their journey takes them to the "Disney Playground Planet," but before they can enjoy the festivities, they first have to make a stop at the Disney Parking Planet.

While relaxing on the planet, Darth Vader shows up to remind everyone that littering is strictly prohibited. Marge then suggests grabbing some ice cream from a stand called "31 Hundred Flavors."

During a simulated event, several Disney characters engage in a playful lightsaber battle. Maggie joins in, using her pacifier as a lightsaber. Suddenly, a blast from a stormtrooper's blaster singes off half of Marge's hair, prompting her to seek revenge. When another Stormtrooper points out that it's all just a simulation, Marge realizes she's gone overboard and ends up destroying the setup. She later apologizes and makes amends by hosting a barbecue at her home.

The backyard party turns into a lively gathering, with Disney characters enjoying themselves and even a few Hulu characters dropping by. Stewie asks Marge for some juice, but before she can respond, Homer Simpson arrives and drags Stewie off to Moe's Tavern—prompting Stewie to unleash a string of colorful curses.
