The Long Shadow was a lifeless region of space at the farthest edge of the galaxy in the distant Outer Rim Territories, home to only a supermassive black hole rumored by spacers that had seen it to be slowly consuming the galaxy. Navigating the Long Shadow required a special sensor computer, hyperdrive and radiation shielding. It held a derelict ship containing the treasure of Nok Drayen.[1] After acquiring the necessary components, the smuggler that would become known as the Voidhound traveled to the Long Shadow to acquire the treasure before the black hole consumed the ship.[2]
