The Tharnkan Story Stone, also called the Story Stone, was an artifact created by the inhabitants of the planet Tharnaka. If held up to light, the Story Stone projected various images from Tharnakan history. The Tharnakans accidentally left the artifact behind when they fled Tharnaka during a massive storm, which caused flooding all over the planet.[1]
Around 233 BBY,[2] the explorer droid 0G-LC, along with the help of Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar, Nubs, and Lys Solay, visited Tharnaka to retrieve the artifact in order to study it further. However, upon their discovery of the Story Stone, a small crew entered the cave from an opening above, taking the artifact. However, unbeknownst to the younglings, this crew included a Tharnakan named Ishbul Ekwesh who was attempting to recover the artifact for his people. The younglings later assisted Ekwesh when another member of the crew, a Gungan named Tooba Jinx, turned traitor and stole the Story Stone in a bid to sell it. Ekwesh later added the story of the Story Stone's rescue into its depected history.[1]
