Thalassa seeds were a type of seed. They were a major ingredient in the creation of a beverage that was popular on[1] the planet[2] Coruscant. When making the drink, one had to steep ten cans-worth of roasted denta beans in thalassa seeds and boiled whilk milk.[1]
The seed could also be found on[1] the gas giant Bespin.[2] In 3 ABY,[3] Torro Sbazzle, executive chef of[1] the tibanna gas mining colony[4] Cloud City instructed her sous-chef, Gersolik, to make a drink that contained thalassa seeds when preparing a banquet for the Sith Lord Darth Vader.[1]

Thalassa seeds were mentioned in the short story "But What Does He Eat?" by S.A. Chakraborty. The story was published in the 2020 anthology From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.[1]
