The Ter58 ion engine was a model of ion engine manufactured by Girodyne. Two Ter58 engines were used in the Gozanti-class cruiser, and were replaced by five Novaldex JV-80 ion drives in its custom configuration, the C-ROC Gozanti-class light cruiser.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Ter58 ion engine was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in No Disintegrations,[1] a 2017 supplement for the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire roleplaying game published by Fantasy Flight Games.[2] It originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in Star Wars: Incredible Cross-Sections, the first installment in the Star Wars Incredible Cross-Sections series, published by Dorling Kindersley in 1998.[3]
