Second issue release date reference
The official source erroneously lists the release date of Star Wars - Resistance - Animation 2 as May 15th (the cover says July) so I didn't include it as a reference. The July date can be found in multiple secondary sources like this one. Nicolas13cage (talk) 13:55, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
- The cover dates on magazines are usually used to signify when the magazine should be taken off the shelf, not when it came out. I think you should go with what the official source says. VergenceScatter (talk) 05:16, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
The High Tower Comic
There appears to be a dispute over whether or not the High Tower comic adaptation should be posted on the article, so we should resolve it before it devolves into an edit war. It should boil down to whether or not it was published in Resistance Animation itself. Even if it's related to the other comics in the magazine, it bears no influence over Animation unless it was published within Animation. A mention of the relation can possibly be noted elsewhere on the article, but not on a list of its contents. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 22:36, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- It was not published in Resistance Animation, it was published in Star Wars Fun & Action, which is already mentioned on the page. Rsand 30 (talk) 22:37, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- That's what I'm gathering thus far. I've reached out to the other editor on their talk page so they can give their standpoint, but unless the comic is in Animation (and it does not appear to be) then it should not be listed as part of Animation. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 22:45, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- The comic is part of the Resistance Comicstrips, even tho in a magazine with a different name in germany it was published as part 5, in australia i was published in the same magazine again as part 5. it is part of of the comic series and since the comic series desn't have it's own article, it should be listed here CharlotteSmoothie (talk) 00:27, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- This article is for the Resistance Animation magazine series, so even though The High Tower is a comic that adapts Star Wars Resistance, it was never in any of these magazines. As for the Australian release, that's covered on the K-Zone page. Rsand 30 (talk) 00:31, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- For a similar example, see the Star Wars Rebels Magazine and Star Wars Rebels Animation magazine. They're both comics based on the Star Wars Rebels series, the Rebels Animation comics continue the Rebels Magazine story, and are even combined in the TPB. However, they are published in different magazines, and therefore have different lists. Rsand 30 (talk) 00:34, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- If it helps Charlotte, the Nav Box at the bottom of many Star Wars Resistance articles group all 5 comics together.NBDani
