What makes you think Shadows 7, 10 and 11 were killed in battle? Their ships were disabled by an Ion canon, with no Vultures to finish them off they were almost certainly fine. Mauser 11:36, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
interesting point, Ahsoka Tano never did pronounce them dead. I believe her words were something like "We lost Matchstick and Tag, and Shadows 7, 10, and 11 were caught in the blast." (not sure if that is the exact quote, but I think its close). So, its atleast possible that they were rescued. Darthkam 18:21, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
Call signs?
In Shadow of Malevolence's role call, the Clones begin with "Shadow 2". Does this mean with Anakin serving as Shadow 1, each got bumped down a number for the BoK? 71.217.5.241 18:50, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- Not necessarily. Did the clones go in numerical order during the roll call, i.e. 1,2,3,4? IFYLOFD Talk 19:10, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Good point, but from what's seen onscreen, yes. Anakin: "Call in". Shadow 2 (Matchstick), S3, S4, cut to chatter from Ahsoka, return to S11 and S12 sounding off. So I guess Broadside could have remained S1 and called in offscreen. But then, I can't remember if I read where Broadside was S1. Maybe he's S3, and Matchstick's the regular Squadron Leader? He does take a commanding role, and is the only SS Clone with customized helmet. 71.217.5.241 22:43, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
"Shadow #" - name of Pilot & RIO?
In the opening of SoM, there are a few more than 12 Clones seated with SS. Later, at the entrance of the Balmorra Run, we see Matchstick has a RIO (Radar Intercept Officer), or Clone sitting in bubble behind him, like Anakin and Ahsoka. You may recall in Top Gun, Maverick refers to his "team" of himself and Goose as "Ghost Rider", as when he requests a fly-by. If you ask me: Anakin, Ahsoka, and Artoo = Shadow 1. Matchstick, RIO, and Astro = Shadow 2. Broadside, RIO, and Astro = Shadow 3. Tag, RIO, and Astro = Shadow ? (I know his article says S5, but unsourced). 71.217.5.241 22:43, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'm just curious to know where you're getting this RIO stuff from. I don't think the additional clone in each fighter is called a Radar Intercept Officer in the episode. They serve as gunners. Grand Moff Tranner

- You're probably more on the ball with that, so let's make an article for each of the Gunners as well. But Ahsoka did seem to be working as a RIO as well. 63.64.127.64 22:54, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Apperance of Shadow squadron
If you read closely Shadow squadron is mentioned to fight in Battle of Malastare an in Battle over Kamino(Third Battle of Kamino) ,so that needs to be updated.
This is directly written on Wookieepedia in Article 'Red Squadron (Galactic Republic)' /During the Battle of Malastare, a Red Squadron Y-wing bomber that was equipped with a prototype weapon known as an electro-proton bomb. Piloted by Red Leader Goji and clone gunner Rod, it flew in formation with Shadow Squadron Y-wings against the Separatist Droid Army. Goji successfully released the bomb on target which created a massive electromagnetic pulse, deactivating or destroying all the droid forces gathered on Malastare./
As for Third Battle of Kamino ,the clone pilot Broadside flew his bomber. But You are right ,there's no source to confirm that ,we 'll have to wait to official source. I just guessed Broadside became new Shadow Leader after Matchstick died. Anakin flew as Shadow leader just temporal in Battle of Kaliida Nebula. —Unsigned comment by Ventilator86 (talk • contribs)
- Red Squadron's article is wrong, and Wookieepedia is not a source for information. CC7567 (talk) 02:35, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
