Could that be her in the red armor on the left side? http://rebelsreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/EpicAssault_Fotor_Collage.jpg --Jet Twilights (talk) 14:25, February 17, 2014 (UTC)

Yes, that is indeed her. --Sings-With-Spirits (talk) 16:03, April 25, 2014 (UTC)

Helmet

Is it just me, or is her helmet a graffiti-style version of a Nite Owl helmet? I felt it was worth mentioning. --Jessanna Stansu, Jedi Knight (talk) 23:26, February 21, 2014 (UTC)

Taken off Category

Why was she taken off the Mandalorians category list?(Corba19 (talk) 01:25, March 28, 2015 (UTC))

language skills

I have been trying to add a section to the page describing her language enthusiasm and ability, but all of my edits have been reverted (with no actual reasons given beyond a vague "your not doing it right") so I would like to ask, how can I improve this and write it correctly?

Sabine was a language enthusiast, she considered it a way to understand other people. She had the ability to learn languages quickly, before she left the imperial academy she was the fastest cadet to complete the language unit during espionage training. She spoke Basic, Mando'a, Huttese, Rodese, Aqualish, Binary, and some Shyriiwook.

This information comes directly from the book Sabine My Rebel Sketchbook, and is accurate. I would just like to be able to add it to the page properly and for it to be written well. ralok (talk) 02:27, April 30, 2015 (UTC)

The text you posted above has a number of grammatical errors. Here is a revised version you could add:
Sabine spoke a number of languages and had the ability to learn new languages quickly. Before she left the Imperial Academy on Mandalore, she was the fastest cadet to complete the language unit during espionage training. She spoke Basic, Mando'a, Huttese, Rodese, Aqualish, Binary, and some Shyriiwook.
Don't forget to source all of that information. Hope that helps. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 02:32, April 30, 2015 (UTC)

Infobox color

I know she is a Mandalorian but her main affiliation is to the Lothal Rebels and the Rebel networks, so shouldn't her infobox be purple for rebel? Skywalker2255 (talk) 05:18, October 23, 2015 (UTC)

Different armor color schemes

I'm wondering if we shouldn't add a section that shows how she's updated her armor as the series has progressed? She's updated the color template of her armor every season, now. It'd be cool if we could find pics of her in the same or similar poses that we could collage together to showcase this. — Sadriel Fett JaingHead 20:48, November 29, 2016 (UTC)

  • Yes it would be cool. However, it hardly seems necessary, given all the screenshots of her that are scattered around the article. For the sake of brevity, I would advise against creating a gallery for the time being.Shayn Mikel (talk) 04:22, November 30, 2016 (UTC)

Affiliation

Seeing as she choose to stay with her clan on Krownest rather than go back to Atollon with the rebels, should we list her rebellion affiliations as formerly now?--D9328 (talk) 19:19, February 18, 2017 (UTC)d9328

  • I was thinking the same. I was going to post that on the Spectres page. I think we should, she's part of the new Mando uprising that they are planning. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 19:31, February 18, 2017 (UTC)
    • Adding "formerly" would impliy that she no longer has connections with the rebellion, so it would be misleading to add that. - Cwedin(talk) 19:39, February 18, 2017 (UTC)
      • I think that It would be better to say formely a spectre or something like separated, to indicate that she's no longer an active spectre. The rebellion shouldnt be change since she's still have those ties to it.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 19:43, February 18, 2017 (UTC)
        • I don't think we should list "formerly" next to her rebellion affiliations. Cevan IMPpress (talk) 19:48, February 18, 2017 (UTC)
          • I've changed the infobox style to Mandalorian since it fits better seeing as she stayed on Krownest.-The Grand Chewbacca (Talk) 19:49, February 18, 2017 (UTC)
  • She is now back with the Spectres. Shall we change the infobox style again?  [ pepoluan talk ] 17:43, November 11, 2017 (UTC)
    • Since no one has any comment opposing this, I've changed the infobox style to 'Rebel', again.  [ pepoluan talk ] 16:39, November 26, 2017 (UTC)

  • Personally, I believe the previous image was better-suited for this page. In the edit history it was stated the current one "better reflects who she is as a character now." To be honest, I really don't see how an image like this can show a change in a character when almost everything that's changed about them has been internal. The only new physical thing is the darksaber, but if the darksaber being there is the reasoning behind the change than the new one is a bit misleading, as Sabine does not plan to be the new master of the darksaber. There's also the fact that the previous image was better quality. I'd like to see some other opinions on this, but at this time my belief is the previous image is superior. Cevan IMPpress (talk) 21:14, February 18, 2017 (UTC)
    • The previous image is more cheery and sort of reflects the original idea of Sabine as this happy go lucky artist character. The new image that I added, showing her with the Darksaber, represents her Mandalorian legacy and where she currently is as a character. An even higher quality version of it can always be uploaded by someone who can get a more HD screengrab of that moment, but in terms of who she is now, this image is much better suited to depicting her character. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 21:19, February 18, 2017 (UTC)
      • I'm still not sure I 100% agree, but all right. Cevan IMPpress (talk) 00:14, February 19, 2017 (UTC)

Homeworld

In the recent Rebels episode, Sabine says she hadn't been back to Krownest since before her time at the Imperial academy on Mandalore. This page has her homeworld listed as Mandalore, but does that quote mean that she's really from Krownest? Krownest is her family's "ancestral home" so I'm not entirely sure what her homeworld should be listed as.-The Grand Chewbacca (Talk) 15:19, February 19, 2017 (UTC)

According to the article, Mandalore being her homeworld is sourced from the Rebels Visual Guide. The quote doesn't specifically say she's from Krownest, so it is overruled by the Visual Guide. -- Dr. Porter Resistance starbird (Talk|Contribs) 05:49, February 22, 2017 (UTC)

Bounty of Trouble

Where should the description go for the events of Bounty of Trouble? The episode's spot in the timeline is not listed in Forum:SH:Timeline of Star Wars Rebels Events. Although the Timeline of canon media indicates that the the episode takes place between Legacy and A Princess on Lothal, the way the article is written smashes these two episodes together. Any suggestions about how we can summarize these events in the article without completely messing up the timeline? Shayn Mikel (talk) 01:03, September 23, 2017 (UTC)

  • Due to the Leia novel, there has to be a significant gap between Legacy and A Princess on Lothal which means that we should be able to add Bounty of Trouble into Sabine's page pretty easily now. I've had to split the section into Escaping Garel and Return to Lothal so we can add the forces of destiny episode in the middle --Lewisr (talk) 01:41, September 23, 2017 (UTC)
    • Cool! Please excuse my noobiness, I haven't read Leia, Princess of Alderaan yet. Waiting for the paperback release. Shayn Mikel (talk) 03:37, September 23, 2017 (UTC)
      • Ah fair enough no worries! --Lewisr (talk) 03:41, September 23, 2017 (UTC)
        • Sorry, but Bounty of Trouble should be before Legacy as the talk page suggest. Right now in the appearances section we have it before Legacy. Also why there's a big gap between Legacy and Princess of Lothal, there's no mention to that in the Leia novel--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 03:42, September 23, 2017 (UTC)
          • It shouldn't be before Legacy because Leia never joined the rebellion until the Leia novel, in 3 BBY and Legacy is set in 4 BBY. Also the novel takes place over a few months and there's nothing said about her mission to Lothal --Lewisr (talk) 03:55, September 23, 2017 (UTC)
            • We don't actually know which year "Legacy" is set. Since "Princess on Lothal" picks up immediately after "Legacy" and LPoA is set in 3 BBY, "Legacy" must be in that year as well. - Cwedin(talk) 03:58, September 23, 2017 (UTC)
            • Agreed, Legacy and Princess on Lothal should be the same year, since Princess pick ups after the events on Legacy--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:01, September 23, 2017 (UTC)

Homeworld again

The Forces of Destiny: Tales of Hope & Courage book mentions that Sabine was born on the planet Mandalore while Krownest is sourced to the Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Updated and Expanded. Which one should we take as real?--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:21, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

  • I believe the reference book is correct, as it corroborates Star Wars Rebels, as well as the Wren Stronghold being the family compound.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 02:32, January 2, 2018 (UTC)

Hair color

It currently says that Sabine's hair is "multicolored". Shouldn't it be black? I think in at least that one episode where she goes undercover as an Imperial she has black hair, which I assume is her natural hair color because I'm guessing she wouldn't have her hair dyed for a mission like that. Lalala la (talk) 16:10, March 10, 2018 (UTC)

  • If a source says her natural hair color is black then we could probably change it --Lewisr (talk) 16:12, March 10, 2018 (UTC)
    • Well that picture used on the "Early Life" section shows her with black hair, her mother has black hair, and as I mentioned her hair is black when she goes undercover at the Imperial Flight Academy. I would guess the Empire doesn't allow its cadets to wear fancy hair dyes, so black is probably her natural hair color. Lalala la (talk) 15:14, April 12, 2018 (UTC)
      • To be honest, that's actually pretty sound logic. Not to mention the fact that her entire family has brown hair and brown eyes. Unless it's a dark shade of auburn or something, it'd be unlikely that her natural colour is anything other than brown. Those are just my two cents.Darth Ravigious (talk) 15:19, April 12, 2018 (UTC)
  • Okay, so I went ahead and changed it to "black" only for someone else to add back "later multicolored" a short while after. I feel like that should not be included, because using dye to temporarily change your hair's appearance doesn't really count, right? I don't feel like getting into an edit war, so I'll just leave this here for a moderator to decide. Lalala la (talk) 02:58, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
    • Well her hair isn't black in Rebels apart from that one time she went undercover, so leaving just black isn't entirely accurate, hence why I added the later bit. Its also not really temporarily if it was for multiple seasons Lewisr (talk) 03:06, 4 May 2021 (UTC)

Article length

Am I the only one who thinks a 25,000 word biography section is completely excessive? It seems like someone's gone through and recapped the entirety of Rebels and what this character did in virtually every episode of the show. As someone who doesn't watch the cartoons and just wanted to know who this character was, this is completely overwhelming. Personally, I didn't want an episode guide for Rebels focused on what role this character played in it; I wanted an encyclopedia overview of the character. RobertM525 (talk) 00:05, February 5, 2019 (UTC)

  • If you feel like there are parts that are especially detailed (i.e. "play-by-play" retellings of episode events), feel free to cut down on those to focus more on Sabine. However, in general, our Biography sections tend to be rather comprehensive -- the introduction is there for the character overview. 1358 (Talk) 00:08, February 5, 2019 (UTC)

Homeworld one more time

I've been looking over all the sources again, and I think the evidence we have actually indicate that Sabine considers both Krownest and Mandalore as her homeworlds and both should be listed as such on the article. Two sources (Rise of the Rebels and Forces of Destiny: Tales of Hope & Courage) say that she was born on Mandalore, and another (The Official Star Wars Fact File Part 62) says she was brought up there (at least partially).

Krownest is her ancestral home and given as her homeworld in multiple sources since "Legacy of Mandalore." HOWEVER in Star Wars Rebels: Heroes of Mandalore when Ezra and Sabine talk together about Mandalore, they explicitly call it her "home planet" and "home," showing that's how the characters themselves view Mandalore. To me what the characters say matters most of all. I believe based on the sources describing Sabine's origins on Mandalore and especially the fact that the characters call it her home planet even after Krownest is introduced, Mandalore should also be listed as Sabine's homeworld in addition to Krownest and noted as her place of birth.

More details with quotes transcribed here. Since this is a fairly significant change, I want to run it by others before making any edits. Toqgers (talk) 07:42, December 6, 2019 (UTC)

Please Change the Sabine Picture

Can we please get a more accurate picture for Sabine Wren, ideally one from Rebels, the live action one is completely inaccurate, it doesn't even look like Sabine (as yet.) We haven't even seen the Ahsoka tv show yet, and we all know and love the one from Rebels, so that is what the picture should be, not the live action one. Don't know why you decided it was a good idea to change it.Aefion (talk) 07:18, 20 June 2023 (UTC)

Portrait and the case of animated characters coming to live action

With more and more characters coming from animation and going to live action, don't you think there should be a way to switch between portraits in order to illustrate the articles of such characters ?

A good example I would say of presentation would be from the Type-Moon fandom : https://typemoon.fandom.com/wiki/EMIYA_(Archer), where you can switch between different looks and games a single character appears in.

What do you think ?Unsigned comment by Azertyijkl123 (talk • contribs)

  • Good idea! Some editors have actually been discussing such infobox galleries on-and-off for some time, and it is certainly possible for Wookieepedia to do so, and many people have liked the idea. Sabine's article is definitely one that would benefit from this. We just haven't got around to implementing the idea, but as you said this could be a prime opportunity. I'll see if I can organise a site-wide discussion to move ahead with this and make it happen. OOM 224 (he/him) 12:49, 24 August 2023 (UTC)

Ahsoka

Wait, is Sabine now a Force-sensitive, Ahsoka's Padawan or Force-something-else? --Episode 35 (talk) 16:36, 14 September 2023 (UTC)

Force Sensitivity

Per multiple explicit in-show statements, Sabine is no more force-sensitive than any other person in the galaxy. It shouldn't be on her page. Force-wielding, perhaps, but she is explicitly not-force-sensitive in the way that jedi initiates/etc are. She's just a normal person who has been trained to connect to the force.

The last Ahsoka episodes

As the template at the top says, would somebody be able to help me add in everything like a new/additional section or something from when she found Ezra to when they got separated? I know maybe I could do some of this myself, but I've got other things to do. This all relates to everything I said about the finale in the forum. Thank you, --Rocket Retro Reed (talk) 21:15, 5 November 2023 (UTC)

New Ahsoka sketch

Should we mention the new Ahsoka sketch revealed on 1/11/2024 into the article? Thanks in advance! -45.19.130.201

  • Unless it was meant to be a canonical depiction of an event then we shouldn't mention it, not aware of it being a real event though Lewisr (talk) 20:37, 22 October 2024 (UTC)

Correcting the biography information between Rebels and Ahsoka

If the events of Ahsoka take canonical priority then why are is the biographical information that describes what took place between Rebels Season 4 and Ahsoka Season 1 out of date. Should we correct this?- *DonOutpost* 14:54, July 22, 2025 (UTC)

  • What information are you referring to? Lewisr (talk) 15:00, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
    • In the Apprenticeship subsection under the search for Ezra section. For example there is no mention of the loss of Clan Wren in the Mandalore purge. It says that Ahsoka and Sabine began their hunt for Bridger in 5 ABY in accordance with the Rebels epilogue which no longer takes canonical priority. This information would need correcting and updating *DonOutpost* 17:29, July 22, 2025 (UTC)
      • It just hasn't been added yet, anyone is welcome to make the changes Lewisr (talk) 17:29, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
    • Okay, I've gone through and cleaned up and edited the information based on canonical priorities and information from Ahsoka Season 1. Only the info stating that Wren and Tano began searching for Ezra in 5 ABY had to be taken out but I've done my best to keep the rest. - *DonOutpost* 20:02, July 22, 2025 (UTC)
