Hey, when replying to comments on talk pages, please note the timestamp on the comment you are replying to. Talk pages
Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Before posting talk page comments, please familiarize yourself with the disclaimer at the top of talk pages, {{Talkheader}}. Talk pages are for discussion relating to changes to the article, not for a discussion about the topic in question. Thank you. Trip391 (talk) 16:23, December 20, 2013 (UTC)
- Again, talk pages are not for discussing the topic of an article, but a change to the article itself. Wookieepedia is not a general discussion forum, but an encyclopedia, if you want to discuss Star Wars, use another site on the internet, like the Jedi Council Forums. Hello
Hello James, my names James (no, seriously), anyway, I'd just like to say hi, and ask, is Kaizer really your surname, because if it is, you've spelled it wrong, cause it properly goes Kaiser, and, are you really an admiral. You're probably gonna say no to all of the above, but hey, I'm just being friendly. Its just the first time I've seen your name appear in the forums, so I thought of coming over and saying hello, so, hi!MadMarekYouCanCallMeJames 15:28, May 18, 2014 (UTC)
- Well, nice to meet you James. My name really IS Kaizer (Nick James Kaizer, in fact). It is not spelled wrong, there are a bunch of ways to spell that name. Actually, I have never met someone who uses the same spelling that was used by the German Emperors (Kaiser). I am from Nova Scotia, Canada, and my ancestors came to NS in the 1750s. When they came they, like many, were illiterate, so over time the spelling of their names (like all surnames) changed. The two most popular spellings of "Kaiser" around here are Kaizer and Keizer. From my research, the name originated in Germany as "Kayser" and this altered and changed over hundreds of years. But no, as you no doubt guessed, I am not an admiral xD I just have a fascination with navies (real world sailing navies and sci-fi space navies). Admiral James Kaizer (talk) 19:00, May 21, 2014 (UTC)
