Ajunta Pall

"He was almost as powerful as Ajunta Pall." Eh? When is this established? QuentinGeorge 03:20, 2 Jul 2005 (UTC)

  • It is almost certainly speculative. TopAce 17:15, 26 Jul 2004 (GMT +1)

Tombs

From what I gather, the tombs are different only for abstract reasons (gameplay, memory) rather than being truly different in history. However, if there is a source, feel free to sort out my presumptuousness. Incidentally, my edit summary was supposed to say 'same', rather than 'time'. --Fade 16:41, 14 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • Well, according to "Star Wars Tales", it's the same tomb, but looks wrong in K.o.t.O.R.. The tombs as seen in the game should be considered gameplay mechanics. --Master Starkeiller 15:07, 15 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Appearances

Have there been any stories involving Marka Ragnos when he was alive? -- SFH 22:23, 15 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • Considering GAotS is about as early as it gets, I'd say not. --MarcK [talk] 22:27, 14 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Simus

I take issue with the statement that Ragnos took the mantle of Dark Lord from Simus. As far as I know Simus has never been named a Dark Lord. Lieutenant Gerard 00:11, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • Yeah, I'm still pretty sure no source has ever named Simus as a Dark Lord. Lieutenant Gerard 22:25, 14 Jan 2006 (UTC)

"Spirit Destroyed"

Ragnos' ghost was forced back into his sarcophagus, screaming that he would return.

So, um, his spirit wasn't REALLY destroyed, was it? Thanos6 09:33, 3 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Half-breed

I always thought he was a full-blooded Sith. Where's this from? --Imp 16:24, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

  • In KotOR II, whenever you go near one of the tombs Kreia will give you a brief description, she describes Ragnos as a "half breed with tremendous strength.."
    • First, I believe Kriea says that Naga Sadow was a powerfull halfbreed, not ragnos. Ans second, i belive h fought simus because simus also wanted to be dark lord. Varas Halcyon

Glowy or not Glowy?

So, I'm playing Academy and Marka Ragnos comes up, blah, blah, blah. But what is significant is that this is the first time that my settings have been turned up all the way and so Ragnos appears a little different. So, here is the question. Should we stick with non-glowy Ragnos or the glowy Ragnos? --RedemptionTalk 15px 22:34, 9 October 2006 (UTC) File:Ragnossettingsup.jpg File:Markaragnos23.jpg

  • I say glowy. You get a much clearer look of him. Trueblue9999 04:24, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Dark lord Mark

I do not understand why Ragnos has not the black sun mark on his head or his war helmet. he should has it because he was dark lord during the sith empire. same mark as Sadow after him. Either in JA and GEOTS there is nothing, not mark like black sun.--ScorpiO 10:27, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Meh. He just wasn't a tatoo guy, clearly. Don't go kidnapping schoolkids, now. .... 10:30, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
    • He probably figured it'd look bad when he was old and wrinkly. Green Tentacle (Talk) 10:37, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
      • Yes i know but i ment also mark on his helmet --ScorpiO 11:02, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Question Regarding Marka's Branding of Exar and Ulic

Does anyone know when the Dark Lord who branded Exar and Ulic was first identified as Marka Ragnos? Only I was reading DLotS today and there's absolutely no mention of him being Marka Ragnos in the comic - and I don't recall there being any references to him being such throughout any of the TotJ books.

The only thing it tells us about him is that he was the Dark Lord "during the time the Sith were being driven to extinction by the Jedi and the armies of the galactic Republic" which would, uh, place him after Naga Sadow.

Anyway, I'm not doubting that he IS Marka Ragnos (because there are sourcebooks in which he is referred to as such, at least I think there are)... I'm just curious as to when the indentification was first made. Certainly, he's wearing similar clothing to Marka Ragnos (as he appeared in GAotS) but that doesn't really mean anything in and of itself.

Thanks for your time, guys.( Uli Talk 23:00, 10 February 2008 (UTC))

  • The first Essential Chronology is the earliest source that I know to identify him as Ragnos, though KJA may have intended that all along. Hope that helps. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 23:06, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Dark Lord of the Sith

I belevie their is an error in this article. It claims that Ragnos is "considered to have been the greatest Dark Lord of the Sith of his time." However, there can be only one DLotS at a time, at least untill the BoD. So wouldn't that make him the greatest by default, meaning that statment wouldn't be needed? —Unsigned comment by 173.17.248.221 (talk • contribs)

  • I think the article means "the greatest Lord of his era", as in the greatest Lord in the Manderon Period (7,000 BBY-5,000 BBY). He was greater than his predecessors, but there was no other reigning Dark Lord while Ragnos held the title.--Skippy Farlstendoiro 09:03, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Horns or Ears?

I can't tell, in some it looks like horns but in the one they look like wierd ears.Mythosaur 12:41, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Lightsaber?

the article says that Marka Ragnos had a red lightsaber, I was not aware of this.... What source does it come from? Is it fanon? —Obi-wan Jacobi 17px 22:14, January 21, 2010 (UTC)
